BACK IN ACTION AT GAS CITY & PARAGON...

--- Springville, Indiana native Jeff Bland, Jr. was back in racing
action over the August 27-28 weekend in a pair of events at the
I-69 Speedway in Gas City, Indiana and the Paragon Speedway in Paragon,
Indiana. On Friday night at Gas City, Jeff struggled with a new
shock package early in the evening, but was charging through the
field in the B-Main until he was caught up in a wreck. Unfortunately,
he was unable to transfer into the night's $2,400 to win feature
event. At Paragon on Saturday evening, Jeff wheeled a Pottorff Racing
entry to a B-Main triumph from the tail before rolling off from
the back of the pack in the main event. He was then able to salvage
the long weekend by posting a twelfth place finish in the $1,200

SEVENTH PLACE FINISHES FOR BLAND, JR. AT L'BURG!

--- Jeff Bland, Jr. invaded the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg,
Indiana on Saturday and Sunday, August 7-8 for a pair of events.
On Saturday evening, Jeff drove an entry for the Pottorff Racing
team in the regular weekly show. After running second in heat race
action, Jeff redrew the sixth starting spot prior to the A-Main
and wound up seventh in the final running order. At Lawrenceburg
on Sunday in the rain-postponed 'Mel Johnson Classic' from June
12, Jeff debuted a new DRC car and started from the pole position
before slipping back to another seventh place effort. Complete results

FOR BLAND, JR. AT HAUBSTADT...

--- Springville, Indiana native Jeff Bland, Jr. closed out the month
of July last Saturday night, July 31 at the Tri-State Speedway in
Haubstadt, Indiana. The MSCS tour rolled into the southwestern Indiana
facility to sanction the $5,000 to win 'Hoosier Sprint Nationals.'
Jeff started sixth in heat race action and quickly moved up to the
third spot, but was spun out from behind, which cut down his left
rear tire. Virtually the same thing occurred in the B-Main as well
and Jeff was unable to transfer into the 40-lap main event. Complete

INVADES PUTNAMVILLE!

26, 2010 --- Jeff Bland,
Jr. debuted a brand-new car for the Pottorff Racing team on Saturday
night, July 24 at the Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana!
The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series rolled into Putnamville
on Saturday and a stout 26-car field was on hand. Jeff timed in
fifteenth fastest during the qualifying session and later ran fourth
in his stacked heat race. After starting fifteenth on the grid in
the 30-lap A-Main, Jeff was unfortunately caught up in an early
race incident, which relegated him to a disappointing twenty-first
